On May 30, Korea University (KU)’s finalday of festival was celebrated by Ipselenti: “Jiya Hamsung” (Roar of Wisdom andWildness). Starting from 11 a.m., students waiting for the entrance startedlining up at the green field.

During the first half of the festival, KUstudent singers and bands performed on stage. Afterwards, singers such as JanKiHa and J-Rabbit opened the stage. Students welcomed the singers with cheer.On the second half of the festival, Sung Si-Kyung came on stage as a specialguest and gave advice to some of the student’s worries regarding theirrelationship and school life. Afterwards, he sang some of his hit songs inKorea.  After Sung Si-Kyung left thestage, hip-hop singer Beenzino and HaHa performed on stage.

The last part of the festival was celebratedwith girl group A-Pink and Lim Chang Jung. Lim Chang Jung was especiallysurprised by the warm welcoming of KU students. “I have been on many stages, butthis stage is definitely one of the best stages I have been to,” said Lim. Hefurther hoped that he would also be able to visit the school next year.

After the singers left the stage, thecheering squad came on stage and the KU students cheered together until the endof the festival. The festival ended at 10 p.m. with students singing the schoolsong. Although there have been students complaining that the cheering squad didnot seem to be completely ready for the festival, most students were satisfied.
