Korea University (KU) Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) recruits the seventh participating team for Creative Challenger Program (CCP). CCP is a program which aims to encourage KU students to inventively solve problems and cultivate creative talent. From the selection of the topic to production of the results, all stages are up to students’ creativity.

After the admission for the participation, three or five KU students make one team, including an advisor. Then they choose the research topic by themselves from various areas such as science, economics, culture, art, and information and communications. Important thing is, they have to take original direction, not just follow conventional results. After the theme selection, students start working on it, using specific and multilateral approach, including research, field inquiry, and experiments.

Students are supposed to work on the study from June 3 to February 1, 2016 and they are able to apply for the program from April 30 to May 25. Besides, there are several benefits for the participating teams. Two million won is provided as support fund for each team and students can freely use i-Pad and other devices during the research period. Additionally, the professionals will teach how to use the devices and give counselling.

Several things that students need to be aware of are as follows: Exchange student, or the students who are scheduled to enter the military or graduate are excluded from participation.
