시 영어로 바꿔보았는데 저런 좋은 감성도 영어로 적어서 외국인도 볼 수 있으면 좋을 거 같아요. 의외로 외국인들 우리나라 전철에 환승음악으로도 놀라워하면서 감성을 느끼는데 저런 시까지 있으면 더 좋지 않을까요?
The Thumping of a Heart

Stand here,
and you’ll hear it—
a pounding in the chest.
The subway’s thundering heart,
beating fast.
When the train,
always in a rush,
pauses to catch its breath,
I wondered why
it trembles so.
So I stepped inside,
took a seat,
and watched.
A worker, lost
in thoughts of home.
An old woman,
thinking of her child.
A foreigner,
remembering someone far away.
Each one
became the heart of the train—
thumping,
fluttering.
And me—
without even meaning to,
I found myself
sitting there,
my heart skipping
at the thought of you. :
