KUBS Challenge는 4명의 경영대학 학부 재학생으로 구성된 팀들이 참가하여, 주어진 특정 경영 사례를 24시간 동안 분석하고 발표하는 Case Competition입니다.  

<2024 KUBS Challenge 대회 개최 안내>

1. 지원자격
- 4명의 경영대학 학부 재학생으로 이루어진 팀이라면 누구나 참가 가능(복수전공, 이중전공, 휴학생 포함)
- 영어로 발표 가능한 자

- 지원불가 대상: 아래 사항에 해당되는 학생은 2025년 상반기 중에 진행되는 국제대회에 참석할 수 없으므로 KUBS Challenge 대회 지원이 불가합니다
(1) 2025년 2월 졸업예정자
(2) 2025년도 1학기 수료예정자 및 현재 수료생
(3) 2025년도 1학기 교환 파견 예정자



2. 지원방법
- 지원기간 : 2024년 10월 15일(화) ~ 2024년 10월 29일(화) 오후 5시 마감
- 지원방법: 국제팀 대표이메일로 팀 대표자 1명이 아래의 서류를 갖추어 접수 (kubsintl@korea.ac.kr)

- 제출파일: 팀별 KUBS Challenge application 1부 (첨부양식), 팀원 개인 영문 CV 1부 (1인당 1page 제한, 자유 양식)


3. 일정
1. 온라인접수
- 10월 29일(화) 오후 5시 마감
- 이메일로 팀대표가 전송

4. 1st round: Case 배부
- 11월 1일(금) 오전 10시
- 24시간 Case 분석  
- 각 팀의 대표메일로 Case 배부 예정

3. 프리젠테이션 동영상제출
-  11월 2일(토) 오전 10시 10분
- 프리젠테이션 동영상 및 PPT 제출  
- 이메일 제출

4. Finalist 발표  
- 11월 5일(화)  
- 결선 진출 Finalist 발표 (4팀 내외)    

5. Final Round  
- 11월 8일 (금) 예정    
- 프리젠테이션 (실시간, 오프라인 예정) 및 Q&A    
- 결선팀 및 심사위원 일정을 고려하여 진행 예정

* 상기 일정은 사정에 따라 변경될 수 있음을 알려드립니다.
* 모든 팀원이 영어로 프레젠테이션에 참여해야 합니다.

4. 심사기준: 분석력, 창의성, 논리성, 커뮤니케이션 능력 등

5. 시상
🥇금상   1팀 :  국제경영사례분석대회 참가 선택권 부여 (2025년 상반기), 상장 수여
🥈은상   1팀 : 국제경영사례분석대회 참가 2순위권 부여 (2025년 상반기), 상장 수여
🥉동상   1팀 : 국제경영사례분석대회 참가 3순위권 부여 (2025년 상반기), 상장 수여


6. 혜택
- 2025년 초청대회는 아래와 같습니다. 금상, 은상, 동상 수상팀 순서로 출전 대회 선택권이 있으며, 대회 참가팀에게는 참가비와 항공권, 숙소비용을 지원합니다. (개인소요비용만 부담) 해외대회 참가팀은 대회출전 전까지 반드시 지도교수와의 트레이닝에 참가해야합니다.

  * Sauder Summit Global Case Competition 2025 (UBC Sauder School of Business, Vancouver, Canada): March 9-14, 2025
  * UW Global Business Case Competition 2025 (University of Washington, Seattle, USA): April 7-12, 2025

- 참가 대회 및 일정은 변동될 수 있습니다.
- 수상팀들은 경영대학 국제 프로그램(교환학생 등) 지원시 가산점을 부여합니다.
- 수상팀들을 대상으로 이전 국제경영사례분석대회 출전팀과의 네트워킹 이벤트를 진행할 예정입니다(11월중 예상).

<2024 KUBS Challenge Case Competition>

1. Eligibility
- Team of four KUBS undergraduate students (including dual degree and double majors)
- Students who can present in English
- Students who fall under the following criteria are NOT eligible to apply:
(1) Students who will graduate in February 2025
(2) Students who meet all the graduation requirements by Fall 2024 and become a pending graduate in Spring 2025 or currently a pending graduate
(3) Students who will participate in a student exchange program in Spring 2025
(4) Incoming exchange students


2. Application
- Period: October 15, 2024 (Tue) - October 29, 2024 (Tue) 5:00 P.M.

- Method: The team leader should submit the application form and the below documents to the KUBS International Office Email (kubsintl@korea.ac.kr)

  * Submission file: KUBS Challenge Application (attached), Each team member's CV (in English, 1 page, no designated form)




3. Schedule
1. Online Application

- The team representative should send the application via email

2. Case Distribution  
- November 1 (Fri); 10:00 a.m.
- Devise a solution for the provided case within 24 hours  
- The case will be distributed to your team leader’s email.

3. Presentation Video Submission  
- November 2 (Sat); 10:00 a.m.
- 10-minutes video  
- E-mail Submission

4. Finalist Announcement  
- November 5 (Tue)  
- Finalist Announcement (around 4 teams)    

5. Final Round  
- November 8 (Fri)  
- On-site presentation and Q&A session

* Each team member must actively participate in the team’s presentation in English.

4. Judging Criteria: Analytical skills, logical and creative thinking, communication skills, etc.

5. Awards
🥇Gold   1 team   :First priority to participate in International Case Competition, certificate
🥈Silver   1 team   :Second priority to participate in International Case Competition, certificate
🥉Bronze   1 team  :Third priority to participate in International Case Competition, certificate

6. Benefits
- Invited international case competitions are as below for the year of 2025 and will be held abroad as of now. The winning team (Gold prize) has a priority to choose the competition. KUBS will support flight tickets and hotels.

- For all winning teams, extra points will be added when applying for KUBS Student Exchange Program.
- Networking event will be held with the winning teams with the previous overseas case competition participants (expected in November).
