이번 학기 개정되어 시행 예정인 취득학점포기제도와 관련하여 다음과 같이 안내드립니다.

🛠️ 변경된 점
기존 취득학점포기는 폐지과목만을 대상으로 하였으나, 금번 개정에서 대상 과목이 취득 과목 전체로 확대개정되었습니다. 상기 개정 사항은 3/1 기준 기졸업생과 수료생을 제외한 모든 학번의 재(휴)학생에 소급 적용되며, 신청 가능 학점, 신청 횟수, 신청 자격 기준 등 기타 요건은 기존과 동일합니다.

⚠️ 특별조치사항
2024학년도 1학기에 한해, 이전에 ❗️6학점 미만❗️으로 학점을 포기한 이력이 있는 재(휴)학생에게 한번의 신청 기회를 더 부여한다(기 졸업생이나 수료생의 경우에는 해당없음). 이 경우 신청 가능한 학점은 이전에 신청하여 삭제된 학점을 더하여 총 6학점 이내여야 한다.

구체적인 제도시행안은 다음과 같습니다.
 
1. 포기대상과목:
학점취득한 과목 (성적인정과목 포함)

2. 신청대상:
등록학기 7회 이상, 102(106)학점 이상 취득한 재(휴)학생 (학사편입생은 4학년인 자)

3. 포기학점: 최대 6학점

4. 2024-1학기 신청기간: 5월 (예정)

5. 제출방법:
포탈시스템>학적/졸업>성적사항>취득학점포기신청에서 본인이 직접 선택 및 제출

6. 주의사항
① 교양필수, 전공필수, 교직필수 과목 등 교과과정상 필수과목은 포기 불가.
② 학점 포기한 과목은 취득학점에서 제외하되 증명서에 과목명을 그대로 표기하고 성적은 “W”로 표기한다.
③ 재수강 중인 과목은 학점포기할 수 없으며, 학점포기 신청 후 포기처리된 과목은 재수강할 수 없다.
④ 취득학점 포기신청은 별다른 규정이 없는 한 재학 기간 중 한 번만 가능하며, 학점 포기 후 이를 철회하거나 포기내역을 정정할 수 없다.
 
※ 반드시 졸업요구학점을 확인 후 신청 바랍니다. 학점 포기를 통해 특정학기 취득학점이 17(18) 미만이 될 경우 졸업우수생 선정 등에서 정한 자격 요건을 상실할 수 있으므로 관련 규정을 확인 부탁드립니다.

Hello, this is KU Student Union Emergency Committee.

We would like to inform you about the amendment and upcoming implementation of the Credit Withdrawal System for this semester.

🛠️ Changes Made
Previously, the credit withdrawal was only applicable to canceled courses that are not available for re-enrollment. However, with the recent amendment, the applicable courses have been expanded to include all earned credits. These amendments are retroactively applied to all students (except for graduates and those who have completed their studies) from March 1.

⚠️ Special Measures
For the 2024 Spring Semester, students who have previously withdrawn less than 6 credits will be given one additional opportunity to apply (not applicable to graduates or those who have completed their studies). In this case, the total credits that can be withdrawn, including previously withdrawn credits, should not exceed 6.

The specific details of the system's implementation are as follows:

1. Eligible Courses for Withdrawal:
Courses for which credits have been earned (including courses with recognized grades)

2. Eligible Applicants:
Students who have been enrolled for more than 7 semesters and have earned more than 102 (106) credits (for transfer students, those in their fourth year)

3. Maximum Credits for Withdrawal: Up to 6 credits

4. Application Period for Spring 2024: May (tentative)

5. Application Submission:
Click Portal(KUPID) > Registration & Graduation > Grade Inquiries >Credit Withdrawal, fill out the application form, and submit the form by the deadline.

6. Notes:
① Required courses, including required general education courses, required major courses, and required teacher training courses cannot be withdrawn.
② The grade of a withdrawn course will be indicated with “W” under the course title and excluded from the overall GPA.
③ Courses being retaken cannot be withdrawn, and courses whose credits have been withdrawn cannot be retaken.
④ The submitted credit withdrawal application cannot be withdrawn. Students must recheck credit requirements for graduation prior to submission of the application.

※ Please ensure to check the required credits for graduation before applying. Withdrawing credits that result in fewer than 17(18) credits earned for a particular semester may result in the loss of eligibility for graduation honors, so please review the relevant regulations.
