Korea University’s (KU) College of Liberal Arts announced its new experimental project on February 2. Named “*Goseongbang’ga* – Deep Insight, Beautiful Resonance”, the ambitious program is said to have been based on the recent surge in various needs for online education.

Led by Lee Hyung-dae, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, *Goseongbang’ga* will star several professors from the College of Liberal Arts, each presenting their own short video on various texts, such as Professor Jeong Wu-bong (Department of Korean Language and Literature) with the *Byeongja’ilgi* and Professor Jeong Byeong-ho (Department of Japanese Language and Literature) with the *Shousetsu Shinzui*.

The second semester of the year will also feature a new lecture, “Seminar on Humanities Classics”, using *Goseongbang’ga* as its primary source of educational material. The College of Liberal Arts’ Innovation Support Project quoted that “*Goseongbang’ga*, being a hybrid educational program between an online video-based platform and offline lectures, will serve as a novel experiment in the education of humanities.”

*Goseongbang’ga* will be available to all KU liberal arts students for free, regardless of their current department or selected courses. Further information about the program is scheduled to be revealed during February through *Mun-kwang*, the College of Liberal Arts’ currently work-in-progress online education platform.
