ToastmastersInternational is an international non-profit organization which is establishedto improve club members’presentation skills. It was founded in 1924 at USA, and now it hasapproximately 11,300 clubs over 90 countries around the world. Its headquarteris currently located in CA, USA.

KUTM is one of 20toastmasters clubs in Seoul and is actively participating in various inter-clubevents and meetings. Once you join our club, you will have instant access toall other clubs too, not just in Korea but all around the world. Come and makethe best out of all the opportunities that are provided to you as a member oftoastmasters! We don't care about your sex, age, major andnationality! We already have members who are foreigners and variousages!

We, KUTM have regularsession on every Thursday 19:30. Feel free to drop by this evening andparticipate in our session as a guest. We promise you that you will be back formore! 동아리 하기에는 눈치도 보이고, 시간도 부족하시다고요?

그래도 끈끈한 동아리 분위기를 느끼고 싶으시다고요?

사회인 선배님들의 주옥같은 코멘트가 필요하시다고요?

그런데 또 위계질서는 싫으시다고요?

술 마시는 동아리는 싫으시다고요?

그래도 아주 가끔은 취하지 않을 정도만마시고 싶으시다고요?

스터디는 재미 없으시다고요?

근데 또 스피킹 연습은 필요하시다고요?

안녕하세요, 바로 그런 분들을 위해서존재하는 Korea University toastmasters 입니다^^

toastmasters는 세계적인 스피치 클럽으로 이미 전세계에 퍼져있고 서울에만 20여개의클럽이 있습니다. toastmasters에서는 영어뿐만 아니라 발표력이나 리더십 등을 향상시킬 수 있어영미권에서도 많은 클럽들이 활동 중에 있습니다.

각 클럽마다 특징이 있는데요, 특히저희 KUTM은 끈끈한 분위기와 더불어 보통 동아리에서는 절대! 만나보기힘든 다양한 연령층이 활동하고 있어 학생들과 사회를 연결하는 다리 역할을 하고있습니다 =) 그리고 Yonsei toastmaters club과의연계 행사도 기획하고 있습니다.

매주 목요일마다세션이 있으며 이번주는 19:30 부터 과도관 스터디룸 305호에서 미팅을할 예정입니다.

그리고 이번주부터 특별히 19:00 부터 30분 동안 특별히 영어 말하기에 대한 기초 강연이 있을 예정입니다^^

평소에 speaking에 관심이 있었지만 학원 가기는 뭔가 돈이 아깝거나 했던 분들, 참여 부탁드릴게요 =D

저희는 영어 실력에 관계없이 고대생 분들 모두 환영합니다^^

native급의 영어 실력이 갖춰진 분들이 격렬한 영어 토론을 하는 곳이 아니라, (그런 분위기를 원하시는 분들은 다른동아리를 찾아보시는게 좋을 것 같아요^^;)

native든 영어를 잘 못하는 분들이든 회화 실력에 관계없이 함께 배우고 즐길 수 있는 곳이 Toastmasters거든요=)

그리고 아직 커가고 있는 club이기 때문에 스스로 성취하는 경험도 겪으실 수 있고, 같은 district 내의 다른 클럽들의 유능하신 분들을 만날 수 있는 기회도 가지실 수 있어요~ (저희 멘토 중에는 인간극장에 나오신 분도 있어요^^)
