The Secretariat of the Korea Model United Nations 2014 (KMUN 2014) cordially invites students to this coming winter conference, from January 14 to 17, 2014 hosted by Korea International Organizations Student Society and co-sponsored by Korea University Division of International Studies and Korea University Global Leadership Center. We welcome and encourage friends and newcomers to Model United Nations to participate as delegates.

Model United Nations (MUN) 101:

MUN is a simulation of conferences held in committee meetings within the framework of the United Nations. In MUN, each participant assumes a role as the representative of a member nation in the UN to address global or regional issues and engage in a process of discussion, negotiation, and resolution-drafting.

Since its first conference in 2007, Korea Model United Nations (KMUN) has been consistent in upholding its “Tradition of Excellence,” recognized for being one of the most prestigious MUN conferences in the nation. KMUN has time and again, gathered hundreds of domestic and international students, providing an arena for high-quality debate between some of the brightest and most exceptional young minds of our time. University Division: As of Nov. 16, 2013; currently a university student/ high school graduate (or in final year of high school) and has been accepted to an undergraduate program/ student on temporary leave

Regular Registration: Nov. 16 - Dec. 6, 2013 (High: 270,000 KRW / Univ: 170,000 KRW)

Late Registration: Dec. 7 - 20, 2013 (High: 310,000 KRW / Univ: 200,000 KRW)
