금일 오전 외국어센터에 방문하여 지난주 발생했던 신입생 영어능력평가 응시 오류와 관련하여 논의하였습니다.

문의 결과를 다음과 같이 요약하여 알려드립니다.

· 2/26(월)에 신입학생 미응시자 전원을 대상으로 추가 응시 기회가 부여될 예정임.
· 신입학생의 경우 기존과 같이 별도 신청 없이 응시 가능함.
· 재학생 미응시자도 해당 추가시험 응시가 가능하나, 별도의 신청이 필요함. (금주 내 미응시자 전원을 대상으로 신청 기간 및 방법과 관련하여 이메일 안내 예정)
· 시스템상 해외 접속도 허용하고 있으며, 지난주 접속 차단 원인은 알 수 없음.
· 시스템 접속 및 이용 중 오류가 발생하는 경우, 담당 업체 문의 시 즉각적인 문제 대응이 가능함.

Hello, this is the KU Student Union Emergency Committee.

This morning, the representatives from the student union reached out to the KU Foreign Language Center to discuss the issues that arose last week during the administration of the Online English Proficiency Test for students.

Here are the summarized findings:

· A makeup test is scheduled for February 26th (Monday) for all freshmen who missed the initial test.
· Freshmen are automatically eligible to take the makeup test without needing to register.
· This opportunity extends to current KU students who have not yet taken the English proficiency test. Relevant students will receive an email this week detailing the registration period and procedures.
· Access from overseas is permitted; the reason for last week's access restrictions remains unidentified.
· Students who will be taking the makeup test next week will not be able to enroll in the ACADEMIC ENGLISH course during this week’s freshman course registration period. However, they will be eligible to sign up for the course during the course add/drop period after completing the test.

An official notification will be sent via email to all KU students who have yet to complete the English proficiency test. It is crucial for these students to check their email inboxes regularly.
