The Korea University Student Counseling Center (KUSCC) is in search for mentors and mentees. The program will create an environment for both mentors and mentees to become active members of the Korea University (KU) community by instilling participants leadership and camaraderie. Mentors and mentees will meet each other on a regular basis during this program.

Participants of this program will be active for ten weeks starting from the first week of April until the third week of July. All juniors and seniors are able to apply for mentors, while all freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students are able to apply as mentees. All applications are due on the first day of April and successful applicants will be notified individually. Those who complete this program will be given a small amount of scholarship and a certificate of participation.

Selected mentees will be partnered up with one mentor each, and will be taught the know-hows regarding college lives. “I think this is a good opportunity to enlighten our gloomy future,” said Shin Keon Woo (’15, Economics).  Likewise, KU expects this program to provide both the mentors and mentees a better future for those who seek better college lives.
