On December 17, the awards ceremony for the first contest exhibit of student-produced image contents of Korea University (KU) took place at the Media Hall. Organized by the Office of Admissions of KU, the contest aims to create contents mainly for high school students who wish to receive more student-focused information about KU.

The award for "introducing KU" was given to Kim Jisu ('13, School of Media and Communication), for her video named "Global KU, dreaming of the world in Korea." Her video is about "life of exchange students and foreign students at KU." Ahn Do-Eon ('10, School of Media and Communication) received the award for "introducing majors," in which he introduced majors in KU that ordinary people, especially high school students may not be fully aware of. He commented, "It was interesting to know more about unfamiliar majors of KU, and I enjoyed the process of making the video."

Awards for introducing "college life" were given to two students, Jo Shin ('10, School of Media and Communication) and Kim Da-Yoon ('14, French Language and Literature). Jo's video was about "things in KU that most high school students are unfamiliar of." While the second prize winner Kim's video introduced the "annual events of KU." All four videos can be accessed through the main website of KU Office of Admissions.
