The Union of Russian Related Areas (URRA) is an association consisting of students of various universities, studying in areas related to Russia. These students first gathered at the beginning of March, and through many meetings resulted with what is known today as the URRA.

Jung Da-yeon ('14, Russian Language and Literature), president of URRA states, "URRA aims to increase the amount of interest people have in Russia and allow students who have great interest in Russia to meet each other and continue with the wish to know more about the country." Now URRA consists of students in Korea University (KU), Kookmin University, Chung Ang University, Yonsei University, and both campuses of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

The managing team includes five students from each university, making 30 in total. On September 12 at Chung Ang University, this managing team arranged an event called the URRA Festival, in which university students, all sharing the same interest towards Russia, came to share their ideas through presentations. The URRA Festival lasted from 3:00 P.M. until about 7:30 P.M. and an impressive amount of deep discussion could be witnessed.

As judges were the chair professor of the Russian Literature major of Chung Ang University, Ilya Belyakov from the television show Abnormal Summit Talks, and Koo Ja-myoung, a Graduate student from Kookmin University who studies at the Moscow National University. URRA plans to continue its efforts to increase interests towards Russia.
