Korea University (KU) Career Development Center opens 2015 Alumni Cafe from May 4 to 7. Alumni Cafe aims to give KU students a chance to meet seniors who are now accumulating careers in their vocations. Through the networking with seniors, students are able to gather the overall information about career development and receive specific advices about getting jobs, so that they can make use of those knowledge in the future. Indeed, this program has received positive responses from students, and kept opening the sessions since September 2014.

What makes Alumni Cafe different from other mentoring programs is that it employs so called the "one-to-few" system. Not implementing a usual lecture-style mentoring, it promotes effective communication between a mentor and three or four mentees. Each student is given two times of mentoring chances. The corporations in which seniors participate include Hyundai Motors for personnel and engineer, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance for accounting management, Daewoo International for international division, and CJ E&M for contents design.

KU students who are interested in can apply by visiting KU career Development Center at the first floor of 4.18 Memorial Hall. Applicants are required to attend advance meeting on May 11 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Veritas Hall in the first basement level at CJ Law Hall.
