Korea University Guro Hospital (KUGH) hasmade an announcement that it will be opening an individual sector in thehospital in order to treat cancer. In one of the press interviews, the KUhospital’s representative claimed that its motto is “Easy, Fast and Credit.”

The goal of the hospital is not only toextend the original cancer center, but to create a revolutionary sector thatwill provide high tech and advanced and only focus on cancer. It even built abuilding specialized for cancer treatment. The cancer hospital will includecancer found variety of different sectors such as breast, lung, colorectal,liver, brain and other major parts of the body. Furthermore, there would beprofessional medical team assigned for each sectors of the cancer.

It is especially notable that beside theprofessional team for each cancer, there will be professional team assigned forimage medical science, radiation oncology, department of nuclear medicine,rehabilitation medicine as well as psychiatry. All these teams will becooperating in order to look for method to treat a specific cancer.

The hospital decided to make a specializedsector for cancer because there were many people that came to the hospital toget cancer therapy. Furthermore, every year the number of patients sufferingfrom cancer is multiplying at a high speed. Many people are expecting the KoreaUniversity’s Hospital to be able to not only make treatment, but also to searchfor new methods and revolutionary technological development to cure cancer.
