On April 7, the final analysis of the “2013 Business Report” provided by the Financial Supervisory Service in the end of last month had been announced. The Business Report contains the information of the academic backgrounds of the executive board members in the upper ten entrepreneurs. The result claimed that Korea University (KU) has taken the second place in the number of members that the school has educated by far.

The report analysis had gone through detailed categorizing procedure. Among upper 15 universities which produced the executive members, only nine is from the district of Seoul. Other six had surprisingly been the schools in the local areas. The ten entrepreneurs dealt in the research are Samsung Electronics, Samsung Life Insurance, Naver, Posco, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Motors, Hyundai Mobis, Kia Motors, Lotte Shopping, and SK Hynix.

Following the expectations of people, Seoul National University (SNU) was listed the top in producing most graduates in ten renowned companies. There are total 197 people that now perform in executive board and it was revealed that as much as 111 of them are working in Samsung Electronics.

KU chased its tail by ranking the second with 150 people. It was same with SNU that it sent most of the graduates to Samsung Electronics which is 67 people. However, with much surprise, it bypassed the record of SNU in the number of SK Hynix, Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Lotte Shopping by close. Yonsei University, Sungkyunkwan University, Pusan University, Hanyang University, and so on follows KU in order according to the report.
