Surely it is the first month of thefirst semester as Korea University (KU) clubs are recruiting new club members. Notonly the clubs but several KU press have been searching cub reporters and otherfacilities, as well, are looking for passionate students to join in. So up tothis point, they were installing individual information desks and postingposters for recruitment.

Else than aforementioned activities,however, Korea University Club Union opened an exhibition for introducing theKU clubs. The Korea University Club Union has been holding on such festival forquite some time, annually. This year’s exhibition is called “Jo-a-seo-ha-neun-dongari.”Like the title, the main purpose of 2014 exhibition was to help students findsuitable clubs which they can truly enjoy and like.

The exhibition held for two days, fromMarch 19 to March 20. For each day, it started up at 10 o’clock in the morningand ended at 5 o’clock. People who visited by Minju Plaza in the dates wouldhave encountered blue and green vinyl booths filling up the whole space. In thecolorful booths, about 100 clubs appealed their unique features.

As there were around 100 clubs withineight categories, students enjoyed the variety. “Though my high school used tohave various clubs, there were some restrictions as we were high schoolstudents,” stated Kim Yoon Woo (’14, School of Interdisciplinary Studies), “butin KU, there’s no such limitation. There’s even scuba diving club.”

Indeed, a hundred might have been alarge number to view. But maps were distributed to guide the viewers. Thefestival, though rainy weather interfered on its second day, ended fulfillingits goal.
