Registration for the 2015 International Summer Campus (ISC) in Korea University (KU) is currently in process. The ISC provides students a chance to take classes of professors from various universities abroad, in KU classrooms.

Registration period is from May 4 to May 29, subjects registered on a first come, first served basis. It is open to not only KU students but also students from other universities. Class period is from June 29 to August 6, classes open from Monday to Thursday, four times a week. Those wishing to apply can download and hand in the application form via ISC online website.

Credits from certain designated courses can be accepted as credits of regular semesters. Evaluation will be based on test and assignment scores, attendance, and participation rate. For subjects that have designated similar courses, course retaking is possible during the regular semester. Tuition fee for each course is 400 thousand won for KU students, and 500 thousand won for students from other universities.

Kim Ji Woo (’14, International Studies) said, “This could be a good chance for those who were not able to register for courses during the regular semester—an opportunity of taking wanted courses during vacation.” As many seek for recharging knowledge during vacation, ISC will be a valuable opportunity.
