The 39th Central Steering Committee meeting has taken place at October 30, 2016. The meeting will discuss four items and has currently finished providing feedbacks to the first-draft of the declaration of the current state situation written by the president of the College of Liberal Arts.

The president of the College of Liberal Arts stated that she made the declaration “easily comprehendible and empathize-able for Korea University (KU) students,” and promised that she will “not include other issues other than the Choi Sun-Sil incident.” She also stated that the first-draft reflected opinions that arose from Korea-pas and the last Central Steering Committee meeting.

The president of the College of Law stated that “the current draft fails to focus on one subject specifically and is lacking concrete evidences to the written declarations.” The president of the College of Business followed up by saying that the “declaration should refrain from mentioning additional issues other than the Choi Sun-Sil incident.”

The president of the College of Liberal Arts commented that she will receive feedback from KU students by sharing a Google Doc where KU students will be able to anonymously provide their feedback to the first draft of the declaration and have the final draft ready as soon as possible so that KU will be able to join the movement with other universities in time.
