Students and professors are currently protesting against the establishment of Crimson College in front of the Inchon memorial hall, blocking the path into the building. Students and professors who oppose Crimson College is taking a collective action against the controversial Crimson College. Yet they overtly promised that the protest will not involve violence.

The president of the Korea University Student Association (KUSA), Park Se Hoon (’13, Political Science and International Relations), commented that “even though the school claims that they will reflect students’ opinions as much as possible, none of the suggested policies have reflected our opinions, and have instead ignored our opinions as if it was nothing,” and claimed that “all of the plans of the Crimson College is aimed towards the elite classes at the expense of the existing students.” He also commented that "President Yeom Jae Ho should heed to the students' opinions if he truly deserves to be the president of Korea University (KU)," and that "the school does not belong to President Yeom."

The first debate session regarding Crimson College in Inchon Memorial Hall is planned to take place at 5:00 P.M, but it is unclear whether this session will convene as planned.
