On November 22, the Korea University Leaders Association for Publicity (KULAP) held an event called Na-wa, Geot-ja, which is a Korean term that can be interpreted in different ways as follows: ¡°Come out, let¡¯s walk,¡± or ¡°Walk with me.¡± Na-wa, Geot-ja is a project proposed by the Human Lab of KULAP to improve the health of university students. The project has been funded by the Center for Teaching and Learning through the Creative Challenger Program (CCP).

The lab offers prizes to the first 20 students who finish walking across the campus. Starting from the Main Gate next to the Woo Dang Hall, students are told to pass through the Central Plaza, the Centennial Memorial SAMSANG Hall and get a stamp in front of the College of Law Annex. Then they are to walk along the Squirrel Trail, get another stamp at Inchon Memorial Hall, and come back to the starting point.

Park Ji Young (¡¯14, Public Administration), the chief of this program, mentioned on the significance of the Na-wa, Geot-ja project. ¡°These days, students hardly get any exercise or even move their bodies. However, it only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to go around the entire campus. I thought the project would give them a chance to work out after lunch, and improve their health,¡± she said.

The Na-wa, Geot-ja project is to be held once again tomorrow, on November 23, from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.
