Despite fierce protest from students and professors on November 10, the school announced the execution of another debate session today at 5:00 P.M. at the Inchon Memorial Hall. Students and professors have therefore congregated again to take turns voicing their opinions, mainly arguing that the ¡°establishment has been dictatorially planned without letting the students know,¡± and that Crimson College ¡°would only benefit the elite at the expense of the non-Crimson College students.¡± Unlike last time, non-interdisciplinary-studies students and alumni have also come to join the dissent and remind students that this problem ¡°did not pertain to the students of Interdisciplinary Studies only.¡±

The Vice President for Planning and Budget eventually spoke out for the school to announce the cancellation of the debate session. He did express his disappointment in not being able to have the debate session, but promised that he will ¡°deliver the student¡¯s message to the school as soon as possible,¡± and informed that ¡°President Yeom is also looking to arrange another occasion to talk with the students.¡± He also gave a short speech that defended the concept of Crimson College.

The Vice President for Planning and Budget also apologized for one of the school official¡¯s inappropriate usage of language that insulted one of the students who protested against the establishment of Crimson College. He also promised to make the apology formal and sufficiently consult with the students and professors before making any final decisions.
