Currently, students and professors of Korea University (KU) have begun their protest against the establishment of the Crimson College, trying to dissipate the second debate session, which is planned to take place at 5:00 P.M., in Inchon Memorial Hall. The previous debate session has been cancelled due to the fierce protest of students and the professors, on November 10.

Park Se Min, the Dean of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, expressed his opinion regarding the foundation of Crimson College. “The Promotion Committee has established the plan without any exchange of opinions with the School of Interdisciplinary Studies. The Committee wishes to hold a debate session on the plan they have designed by themselves. Thus, the debate session is meaningless and must be cancelled,” he said.
