In an event spanning two days, from November 11 to 12, the Korea University Student Association (KUSA) joined a mass protest against the Choi Soon-sil incident, along with other colleges such as the College of Political Science and Economics.

On November 11, College students celebrated the eve of the Youth Rally, while the Youth Rally itself and the State of Affairs Congregation was scheduled for the next day in Marronnier Park. The latter began in 12:30 P.M. and the former started in 2:00 P.M. The Youth Rally, which was a protest event organized autonomously by Universities nationwide, revolved around the Culture Festival, which starred dance performances and additional declaration of state affairs.

From 2:30 P.M. onward, the KUSA and other Student Associations embarked on a march from Marronnier Park to the City Hall Square.

Meanwhile, in the City Hall Square, the People's Rally started and hordes of people crowded the streets all the way from Namdaemun to the City Hall station. A large number of political groups, such as Labor Unions and the Labor Party, joined the People's Rally. During the event, a multitude of speakers expressed their grievances with the Park Administration, including members of the Sewol Ferry Accident Committee and the daughter of farmer Baek Nam-gi, who passed in September following last year's People's Rally. Around 5:00 P.M., selected speakers read aloud their declaration of state affairs. Afterward, the people marched their way from the City Hall Square to the vicinity of Gwanghwamun, including but not limited to Jonggak and Euljiro.

Update: The people have returned to the City Hall Square for the Candlelight Vigil and Culture Festival, both of which will commence at 7:30 P.M. Currently, students from KU and other universities are seated in the street that leads to the City Hall Square.
