1973년 5월 1일에 발매된 카펜터스 5집 ‘Now & Then’ 6번 트랙 수록곡입니다. 이 곡은 1973년 6월 2일 싱글 앨범으로 발매되었고, Billboard Hot 100 chart에서 2위, Easy Listening Chart에서 1위를 차지했습니다. 그리고 이 싱글 앨범은 카펜터스의 앨범 중 가장 많이 팔린 앨범이기도 합니다.
   카펜터스는 오빠인 ‘Richard Carpenter’와 여동생인 ‘Karen Carpenter’로 구성된 그룹입니다. Richard Carpenter는 피아노를, Karen Carpenter는 드럼과 보컬을 맡았습니다. 특히 Karen Carpenter의 중저음 음색은 많은 사랑을 받았습니다. 안타깝게도 거식증을 앓던 Karen Carpenter는 1983년 심장마비로 사망하게 됩니다. 현재 Richard Carpenter는 생존해 있습니다.
