On May 20, at 5 P.M. in the Global Conference Hall, located in the first basement floor of Centennial Memorial SAMSUNG Hall, a lecture by a foreign entrepreneur was held as one of the University Plus programs. In the program, Choi Young Tae, the Chief Executive Officer of NADRI Incorporated, gave a lecture titled, ¡°Create a Stage, Find the Protagonist. Be the Director.¡±
He started out the program by telling a story about how he got started in the global business. After failing at his first attempt in business through ice cream sales, Choi came to the realization that ¡°If I cannot do it alone, find someone better in the field and collaborate with the person.¡± He continued by saying, ¡°I create the stage, and I just need to find the main protagonist because I am the director of the movie.¡±
He compared the stage to life and directing to building a stone fence, and further explained that everyone¡¯s stone fence is different, a distinctiveness which, according him, is what made everyone unique.
Near the end of his lecture, Choi mentioned the concept of ¡°More Value,¡± which refers to when an individual invests more than what the individual desired. ¡°By giving more profit to the customers, you are basically investing in the infinite potential of yourself,¡± spoke Choi. He ended his speech with the remark that ¡°The protagonist will be the customer¡± and that the power from this stage is the secret to an immortal business.
