ARCH.M, an intercollegiate interior design society consisted of 28 colleges all over the country, opened an exhibition introducing its overall activities in a display room located on the fourth floor of ¥ð-Ville. The display began on May 12, 2017 and will end on May 23, 2017.
As a user of ¥ð-Ville studio, ARCH.M has carried out many different kinds of interior design projects, starting from designing the café terrace of ¥ð-Ville¡¯s first floor and running classes related to interior design. ARCH.M has also designed the club room of Korea University (KU)¡¯s wine club Sommelier and KU dance sports club Buras. ARCH.M pursues creative interior design by collaborating with 40 interior designers, architects, and craft experts.
The exhibition currently being held in ¥ð-Ville 99 allows viewers to take a look into the club¡¯s activities through the various props crafted by club members. In the exhibition, hand-drawn illustrations, Photoshop illustrations, calligraphies written in both Korean and English, floral designs, form arts, sketch up 3D works, and leather craft are displayed. Lee Joo Ho(¡¯16, Business), who visited the exhibition, said that ¡°The overall exhibition was very interesting, showing different kinds of interior props made by students.¡± He also added concern that there was no one around to guide the viewers and help him with questions.
