안녕하세요, 고려대학교 총학생회 고연전준비위원회입니다.

학교 본부는 당초 2026 정기고연전 폐막제와 무료주점을 민주광장으로 이전하는 방안을 제시했습니다. 이에 고연전준비위원회는 대자보를 통해 문제를 알리고, 설문조사와 연서명을 통해 구성원의 의견을 수렴했습니다.

7월 26일까지 총 2,165명의 구성원이 연서에 참여했습니다. 고연전준비위원회는 설문조사 보고서와 연서명 명부를 근거로 민주광장 이전안의 전면 재검토를 요구하는 공식 공문을 학교 본부에 전달했습니다.

이후 학교 측과 지속적으로 협의한 결과, 학교 본부가 총학생회의 요구를 수용하여 폐막제와 무료주점을 참살이길에서 운영하는 것으로 장소 협의를 마쳤습니다.

고연전준비위원회는 앞으로 학교의 행정적 지원을 바탕으로 학생 안전인력을 추가 확보하고, 폐막제와 무료주점을 아우르는 통합 안전관리계획을 수립하여 안전관리계획 심의와 관계기관 협의를 준비하겠습니다.

Hello, this is the Korea University Student Union’s Korea–Yonsei Games Preparatory Committee.

The university administration initially proposed relocating the 2026 Annual Korea–Yonsei Games Closing Festival and Free Pub to Minju Plaza. In response, the Korea–Yonsei Games Preparatory Committee raised awareness of the issue through posters and gathered members’ opinions through a survey and a joint petition.

As of July 26, a total of 2,165 members had signed the joint petition. Based on the survey report and the list of signatories, the Korea–Yonsei Games Preparatory Committee submitted an official letter to the university administration requesting a full reconsideration of the proposal to relocate the events to Minju Plaza.

Following continued discussions with the university, the university administration accepted the Student Union’s request, and an agreement was reached to hold the Closing Festival and Free Pub on Chamsari-gil.

With the university’s administrative support, the Korea–Yonsei Games Preparatory Committee will secure additional student safety personnel and establish an integrated safety management plan covering both events. We will then prepare for the review of the safety management plan and consultations with the relevant authorities.
