On May 24, the 46th Ipselenti-Jiya Hamsung (Ipselenti) festival was successfully held after the week-long *Seoktap Daedongjae* (The Granite Tower Festival) at Korea University¡¯s (KU) Green Field. Organized by KU¡¯s Cheerleaders (KUC), the all-day celebration drew students and alumni alike with live music, dance, and cheers—featuring K-pop powerhouses Le Sserafim and Zico, alongside rock legends YB.
Ipselenti unfolded in three distinct phases, starting with an MC welcome and a bustling student showcase—dance crews, club performances, department skits, and unit videos filled the schedule from morning to early afternoon. After a brief intermission, three midday artists—Lucy, KiiKii, and QWER—energized the crowd, followed by technical repertoire demonstrations from KUC¡¯s own groups. As dusk fell, six headline acts—NMixx, Le Sserafim, Jeon Somi, TWS, Zico, and YB—took the stage, culminating in a fireworks display hosted by the Student Council president.
With its largest-scale festival, Ipselenti—The Battle Cry of ¡°Ji¡± and ¡°Ya,¡± with *Jiseong* for wisdom and *Yaseong* for wildness¡ªcoming to an end, KU officially marked the grand finale of its May festivities, bringing together the entire campus to sing and dance along to the official cheers and university anthems. For anyone missing the annual Ko–Yon Games, Ipselenti provided the perfect opportunity to roar ¡°Ji Ya¡± in solidarity, channeling the same fervor and unity that fuel KU¡¯s proudest traditions and closing the spring festival on a triumphant high note.
