On May 21st, former president and vice president of Korea University Student Union (KUSU), Kim Tae Gu (¡¯12, Business Administration) and Hong Ji Soo (¡¯15, Health Policy and Management), put up a wall poster apologizing for overusing their financial budget. As a result, there was a loss on the balance carried over to the 51st student union. This loss was mainly from to the closing ceremony for the annual Ko-Yon Games.

According to the campus wall poster, unlike other years, the emergency planning committee of Yonsei University refused to hold a joint ceremony. As a result, 2018 closing ceremony of Ko-Yon Games were held separately. The 50th student union asserts that during this preparation, they have overused their budget in order to make a high-quality ceremony. They then apologized for their mistake, claiming that they should have managed the finance with more care, careful to not use the money that should have been transferred to the 51st student union.

Meanwhile, according to the account book, the carry-over to the executive department of the 51st student union did not violate the regulation. However, the payment for the printing company was not made which practically caused a minus carry-over. The central steering committee of the university made a judgement that the previous KUSU has violated the rules of the council on this point.
