On January 23, the President and the Vice President of the College of Liberal Arts met with President Yeom Jae-ho to discuss the undemocratic spatial management of SK Future Hall. In the meeting, the President and the Vice President of the College of Liberal Arts addressed how the current College of Liberal Arts students were left severely wanting for space, with only 43.6 percent of the major courses taught in the College of Liberal Arts building. The proportion is almost half that of other colleges such as the College of Business Administration and the College of Education.

President Yeom acknowledged the inconvenience the College of Liberal Arts students are experiencing but stated that utilizing the SK Future Hall as space of Liberal Arts students and professors is impossible due to founder of SK Future Hall’s will. However, in order to provide College of Liberal Arts students with mores space, President Yeom entertained the idea of constructing a second College of Liberal Arts Building. He promised to continue communicating with the students to meet their requirements as much as possible.

On January 25, having received President Yeom’s promise to tend to the College of Liberal Arts students’ education and spatial rights, the on-road student rally against the undemocratic process of the SK Future Hall construction came to a temporary end. The student protesters decided the protest had helped in part to express the student body’s opinion and reached a consensus to halt their protest. The Vice President of the College of Liberal Arts assured that this is not a definite end to the issue and that College of Liberal Arts students should continue to fight for their rights. She added that the continuous interest and active participation of the student body as a whole is necessary for their success.
