Korea University (KU) lost against Yonsei University (YU) in its first game of the Annual Ko-Yon games, with the final score-line of 4-5. Although KU was leading by 2-0 in the first inning, KU suffered reversal by a point in the end, with score-line of 4-5.

The start was quite expecting for the KU team and students. In the top first inning, Lee Dong Young (¡¯16, Physical Education, Outfielder) and Kim Won Ook (¡®14, Physical Education, Outfielder) made through to the field. With two confusing the YU pitcher Kim Dong Woo (¡¯14, Physical Education, Pitcher) with stealing the bases to second base and third base, Kang Seung Nam (¡®12, Physical Education, Outfielder)¡¯s timely hit earned KU two points. After the scoring, the cheerleading anthem baennorae resonated throughout the stadium. However, the crisis came right after the victorious play. Kim Han Sol (¡¯14, Sports Leisure, Third Baseman) and Kim Chang Yong (¡¯15, Physical Education, Infielder) made through to the second base and third base. With KU¡¯s pitcher Lim Yang Sup (¡¯14, Physical Education, Pitcher) playing the game calmly, KU team sealed off the crisis of full base with flying-out.

After the breathtaking first inning, a deadlock was made. KU¡¯s pitcher Lim Yang Sup (¡¯14, Physical Education, pitcher) showed off his stable and accurate balls, while YU¡¯s pitcher Kim Dong Woo pitched rather sharp and fast ones. Although some batters such as Kang Joon Hyuk (¡¯17, Physical Education, Infielder) made it through the field, both team could not make a score for four innings.

However, not only successfully making a tie of 2-2 in the bottom fourth inning, YU scored two more points in the fifth inning, making score-line of 2-4. With batters on the second base and the third base, tension rose between KU and YU. YU brought out the hidden card of substitute batter Kim Jae Yoon (¡¯16, Sports Leisure, Infielder). His timely hit brought two YU batters on field to the home, bringing two points for YU. YU¡¯s another batter Jeong Jin Soo (¡¯16, Physical Education, Catcher)¡¯s hit also brought two more points to YU in the following inning.

KU¡¯s lost seemed to glare out, when two heroes of KU, Kang Joon Hyuk and Lee Dong Young scored two points in the seventh inning, one point each. With two runners on the first base and third base, and no outs, Kang¡¯s bat made a score. In high spirits, Lee Dong Young also swung his bat to score another score, making it a tie of 4-4.

Even before KU students¡¯ excitement about turnaround resolved, YU¡¯s batter Na Young Chae (¡¯17, Physical Education, Infielder) scored another point immediately, making score-line 4-5. Although KU batters and its Bullpen Pitcher Cha Dae Gyun (¡¯15, Physical Education, Pitcher) tried their best, they were not able to reverse the score-line of 4-5, making the game a win for YU.
