[NEWS] KUBA¡¯s Flea Market on Campus

KoreaUniversity¡¯s (KU) one of the most renowned student clubs, Korea UniversityBuddy Assistant (KUBA) members disclosed a flea market and a photo exhibitionin People¡¯s Square. KUBA is primarily known to support transfer andinternational students with their major difficulties in adjusting to KU, but italso prepares a lucrative opportunity, as in flea market, to aid in funding forthe ones who need.
Kim Won Jun (12, English Languageand Education), a member of KUBA, said ¡°It is definitely one of theonce-in-a-lifetime opportunities to collect money to help other people whoreally need support. Moreover, I believe that the idea of opening a flea marketboth benefits the customer and the seller. The customer receives an item insuch a cheap price that they are truly happy about it. The seller senses hopewhen there is enough money to fund.¡±
KUBAnot only sold clothes but also they prepared snacks for bored students who wereeager in finding refreshment. Also, besides the flea market, there was a photoexhibition they showed the dedication of KUBA members. Another student Son NaYoung (13, Liberal Arts), said ¡°It is just like in the United States thatstudents organize their own bazaar and collect money to aid in funding. It isjust fantastic¡±
Fantasticas it was, KUBA opened its flea market and photo exhibition from 10:00 A.M to5:00 P.M from May 14 to 15.
