[NEWS] ApplicationProcess for Double Majors Starts Tomorrow

From May 14th to May 16th, Korea University (KU) students are able to apply for double majors from the portal site and by in-person submission. Only students whose first major is confirmed, who have registered for three or more semesters and who have enrolled in the Spring semester of 2013 are allowed to apply. Students who already have double major are ineligible to apply.

The admission criteria may be different from each major including transcript, interview and plan of study. The admission results are scheduled to be announced on June 20th at 14:00 in KU’s Portal system. After passing a double major, the next semester will be eligible and students are able to contact the Academic Affairs Department of the respective college in charge of the program.

It is expected that many students will be applying for double majors this semester in order to widen their horizon and search for their inner passion. “Double majors are needed but sometimes in order to develop professionalism in your career, it may be a good idea to think again about what you really want to do in the future,” said Choi Hyeong Cheol.
