The Korea University (KU) Business School invited Youngsuk Chi to give a special lecture at the Supex Hall located on the 4 th floor of the LG-POSCO Business Hall at 2:00 P.M. on September 7, 2015. Chi has been dubbed the ¡°Pioneer¡± of the world¡¯s publishing sphere, and currently holds office as the chairman of Elsevier. Over 200 audiences gathered at the special invited lecture.

At the special lecture which was on the topic of ¡®People, Choices, and Leadership,¡¯ YS Chi shared his experiences and success stories on leading the world information industry and solidifying his place as the chairman of a leading publishing corporation.

Chairman Chi explained, ¡°In the publishing industry, you must risk danger, innovate organizations, and enter new relationships.¡± Chi chose expansion, experience, and solidarity as the three keywords for succeeding in the fast-paced publishing industry.

Each year, KU Business School has invited Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of global corporations to give special lectures in order to cultivate global leadership and business foresight of its students. Key personnel that have visited KU Business School include Alvin Toffler, James Beeland ¡°Jim¡± Rogers, and Cara Carleton ¡°Carly¡± Fioria.
