Korea University (KU) is holding the 2015 Career Odyssey Festival from September 1 to September 3 at the first floor of Hwajeong Tiger Dome. Hosted by the KU Career Development Center (CDC), this job fair allows students to have the chance to find out about a total of 200 domestic and international corporations ranging from Samsung, LG, to Work in Japan, Smilegate.
At each booths that companies have set up, participants can take the chance to ask questions about the atmosphere within the firms, and discuss over their resumes. ¡°One of the things that students show most interest in is what will be asked in the interview test,¡± said Song Seung-Hee, the CDC Assistant Manager.
As youth unemployment rates soar high up in the sky, this event is definitely one of the events with the most spotlight. This festival is also the biggest Career Exhibition ever held within a domestic university. 1500 students have so far registered for the admissions just on the first day—and this number is expected to rise over 4500.
Those who wish to participate can simply do so. All that is required is a registration at kujobfair.co.kr. The festival starts from 10:00 A.M. and ends at 5:00 P.M. ¡°Getting ready for employment does not only apply to upperclassmen,¡± Song said. ¡°I really hope that the freshmen and sophomores too would cultivate themselves from now on and come visit,¡± she added.
