On September 30 and October 1, a “Dream Workshop” was opened from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at an auditorium in π-Ville 99, held by Korea University (KU) π-Ville 99 Administration Team and its Student Steering Committee. “Dream here as several meanings: a dream that we experience in night and a dream that we hope for the future. By having a conversation about our “dream,” the event was willing to provide young adults with an opportunity to find their “true youth.”

The event first started with an ice-breaking activity. Participants of the session shared dreams that they recently experienced. They additionally explained possible reasons that might have influenced them to have such dreams while they were asleep. The following activity was unique; participants had to write what kind of person they want to be in the future. The answers were various, varying from people who want to be friendly, beloved by others, self-respecting and to a lot more. Not only they explained in words, but they also drew pictures to express the person they want to become. One of the KU π-Ville 99 Student Steering Committee members explained that people are more likely to achieve their dreams when shared out loud in front of many people. The third activity was the highlight of the session where people made dreamcatchers by choosing designs and colors of their own.

The session was finished with all the participants receiving a piece of bread – madeleine. Before leaving, participants received handmade dreamcatchers as a gift from the host. Everybody seemed satisfied with what they had experienced during two hours. As one participant says, he was glad because he could solidify what he really wants to do in the future.
