The Occupation Committee held an evaluation meeting on December 29, in which committee members and college representatives discussed the successes and shortcomings of the Main Hall occupation that lasted from November 24 to December 26. During the evaluation meeting, which was led by Vice President of Korea University Student Association (KUSA) Kim Bo Hyeok ('14, Political Science and International Relations), committee members expressed some of their frustrations with the occupation, especially a lackluster word of mouth and threadbare promotion. In particular, the representative from the College of Medicine pointed out that, because the College of Medicine was not directly affected by Future (Crimson) College, students there did not feel that the Main Hall occupation was necessary. Other representatives from the Science and Engineering Campus echoed this sentiment, calling for more active promotion of KUSA and KU events in the Science and Engineering Campus.

Other committee members voiced concerns that they did not emphasize the corporate aspect of Future (Crimson) College enough, with some feeling apprehensive about KUSA's ability to ward off similar corporate projects in the future. Meanwhile, opinions concerning strategies to combat President Yeom's other undemocratic policies were also exchanged, as were suggestions of a better means of promoting KUSA and school-related events. Some members regretted their emollient treatment of school faculty members who remained in the Main Hall after the occupation began and remarked that they would have preferred to be more adamant during the occupation.

In the end, Vice President Kim, along with outspoken committee members Yeon Eun Jung ('11, Korean Language Education) and former President of KUSA Park Se Hoon ('13, Political Science and International Relations), commended all committee members and representatives for successfully fighting against Future (Crimson) College and taking another step toward the democratization of university administration. Further feedback concerning the occupation will be discussed during the Central Steering Committee Meeting held today.
