The University Education Development Center of Korea University (KU) is organizing special writing practice sessions where all students of KU can listen to lectures about writing and practice their writing.

There are a total of three sessions, each with its own special lecturer and topic. The first lecture is on December 1, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at auditorium 123 at the Central Plaza. The lecture is carried out by professor Jo Min-Ha (Korean Language and Literature, Kyung Hee University) and is about the theories and realities of demonstrative writing.

The second lecture is carried out by professor Peter McAuley (English Language and Literature) on December 8, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M., with a lecture title reading, "Academic English Writing for Classroom Presentations." This lecture is also proceeded at auditorium 123 at the Central Plaza.

The last writing lecture is more focused on writing lessons for students of Science and Engineering. It takes place in auditorium B115 at the Hana Square on December 9, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. and Professor Jung Jae-Ho (Physics) is the special lecturer. Moon Hyun-Seung ('13, Electrical Engineering) commented, "Students studying science do not have that many chances to practice writing, so I would be interested in participating in such sessions." Individual coaching and practicing is also planned from December 8 until 11.
