제 5회 서울 모의유엔 총회

You've never been closer to the United Nations...

서울모의유엔총회 MUNOS Summit은 국내 가장 오랜 전통을 자랑하는 영어진행 모의유엔회의로서 유엔과 국제이슈에 대한 깊은 열정과 관심을 지닌 국내외 대학생들의 참가를 통해 그 우수함을 이어왔습니다. 매해 국내 대학생들과 더불어 높은 비율로 외국인 학생 및 해외 대학생들이 참가해 왔으며, 정치외교학에 이어 법학, 경제학, 경영학, 공학 등 참가자들의 다양한 배경과 전공을 기반으로 MUNOS Summit은 국내 대학생 모의유엔회의 중 가장 색다른 경험과 네트워킹을 제공하는 행사로 발돋움하게 되었습니다. MUNOS Summit은 모의유엔회의의 형식에 대한 정확한 이해를 위해 회의 전에 별도의 교육세션을 제공하며 국제 이슈 외로도 영어 웅변 및 토론 능력 향상에 대한 관심이 깊은 모든 학생의 참가를 환영합니다. 국제 모의유엔 다이렉토리인 MUN Central의 한 회원으로서 올해에는 네덜란드, 이탈리아, 레바논의 모의유엔과 결연관계를 맺게 되었으며 올해 더욱 국제적인 차원에서 우수한 학생들의 교류의 장을 마련하기 위해 여러분을 초대합니다.

Model United Nations of Seoul: Summit is the oldest university-level Model United Nations in Korea completely led in English. Marking its fifth annual conference this year, it has received delegates whose academic backgrounds span across a colorful spectrum, ranging from international relations to engineering and life science. MUNOS Summit also enjoys an international affiliation of academic conferences, which includes the Netherlands MUN, the Milan MUN, and the Rhodes Model Regional Conference. From early this year, the student-led Secretariat has dedicated months to provide an academic conference of great educational caliber. We welcome you to take part in this great event this August at the COEX Convention Center.

날짜: 2010년 8월 9-11일 (오전 9시 - 오후 6시)

장소: COEX 컨벤션 센터

후원: 조선일보, 한화, World Vision

회의규모: 국내외 대학생 100명

올해 회의는 총회 General Assembly, 경제사회이사회 Economic and Social Council, 안전보장이사회 Security Council 세 개의 위원회를 열어 개최할 예정이며 토론 주제가 될 의제는 Revision of the Kyoto Protocol, Relief Provision for Natural Disasters, Selection of the Next Secretary-General 등을 포함합니다. 회의 수익금의 일부는 회의에서 다뤄진 국제 문제의 해결을 돕기 위해 World Vision에 기부금으로 쓰이게 됩니다.
