21st Global Asia Leadership Forum (GALF)
Currently Recruiting Members for the 2nd Semester of 2023!

1. Introduction
Sponsored by East Asia Foundation and Global Asia, GALF is an inter-university student academic society where we present and debate Asian political, economic, societal, and environmental issues. GALF will issue a Certificate of Activity and Membership upon completion. Through GALF, students can widen their perspectives by interacting with other students from different backgrounds.


2. Eligibility
Membership is open to undergraduate/graduate students, exchange students, and international students interested in Asian diplomatic affairs who can attend biweekly regular sessions!


3. Activities
Regular Sessions:
Group presentation and discussion on Asian political, economic, societal, and environmental issues, held offline in the East Asia Foundation Conference Room on Saturdays (excluding midterm/final exam period) from 14:00-17:00.

Open Session:
Lectures from distinguished speakers and a Q&A session for expert opinions and broader views.

Field Trip:
The executive board plans a field trip to the Korean History Museum and the Blue House.

12/02 (Sat): Closing Ceremony


5. Application Process
Applicants should submit their application documents and go through an interview. Download the application form from the link below and submit it to galf.official@gmail.com by 23:59, 09/06 (Wed).

6. Things to Note
- All sessions are in English.
- Upon completion, a Certificate of Activity and Membership will be issued to each member.
- The Official certificate will only be issued to the members who attended all sessions. Attendance is crucial, so we are looking for people eager to participate with passion!
