Compared to having only eight majors in the top 100 last year, the number of majors that entered the top 100 doubled this year with 15 majors which demonstrates that the research and improvement in education opportunities in KU significantly augmented and met the global standards. ¡°I am very proud to be a student at KU and to be part of the legacy that students and faculties created,¡± said Lee Ji Soo (¡¯12, English Language Education).
Specifically, law major escalated from being on the top 200 to top 100, Material Science and Pharmacy also escalating over 100 ranks. Compared to other domestic universities, both humanities major and natural sciences majors ascended in the ranks with KU being the second most progressed university, after Seoul National University (SNU).

Along with those majors, the other majors are also on its hot tub, waiting to be shined and praised internationally.
QS Top University Rankings has also published an article, specifically dealing with Korea¡¯s domestic universities, citing them as ¡°competitive on a world scale¡±. With its high-tech economy and ongoing interest in education, the future of domestic universities cannot be underestimated.
